Kemerovo region

 

USD 100,000,000 will be spent to build a coal terminal in the port “Yuzhny” (Ukraine)

Siberian Business Union Holding Company (Kemerovo region) will spend USD 100,000,000 to construct a special coal terminal complex in a sea trade port in Ukraine. Construction will be started in early 2005. It is planned to take a credit for that project.

Novokuznetsk Metallurgical Complex put a new arc steel furnace into operation

Total cost of the project is approximately USD 7,500,000. Equipment produced by a German Badische Stahl Engineering GmbH was used for industrial process's technical re-equipment. New equipment's efficiency is 70% higher than that of old equipment.

Guta Bank and Kuzbass Governor Aman Tuleev signed a collaboration agreement

The agreement implies that the Bank would take part in development and execution of purpose investment programs aimed at regional development and reconstruction of regional economics. Besides, Kemerovo Region Administration considers Guta Bank as a candidate to issue and allocate securities of the region. Total volume of credits issued by Kuzbass branch of Guta Bank during 2004 reached USD 31,500,000; it is expected that the sum will increase next year.
